STORY IQ RESULTS
Part B – Knowledge about Stories
The second section focuses on how much you know about the topic of storytelling – how and why it works; how to find, mine, evoke and work with stories. Let’s see how you did.
0-9 – In the Dark. Your knowledge about stories is rudimentary and need paying attention to. For career success, start getting educated all you can about how and why stories work, different types of stories, the elements of compelling stories, and the best ways to work with them.
10-18 – On the Path. You know stories are important but your knowledge about how and why they work is lacking. You need to know more in order to consciously harness their power and have them work better for you. Start looking for training, workshops and conferences to build your story knowledge.
19-28 – Somewhere in the Middle. Your knowledge about how stories work is better than most but you are missing key pieces of information that will make you even more effective. Don't keep falling behind. Start investigating how you can expand your knowledge and better tap your current abilities so you can be even more successful.
29-38 – Story Savvy. You know a lot about how and why stories work, and are consciously competent in how to work with them. You can spot the results of your storytelling activities. Persist in polishing your skills. Story savvy people know they need to continue learning about storytelling as more research, tools and processes are developed.
